What we are..

Materyales was created in September 2020 by Janthrize Andanan. Its initial name was “Tienda De Materyales”. It was during the lockdown when she felt bored and had a lot of spare time after her online classes.

On her product list, she also added selling keychains which were made of resins. She then decided to shorten her business’s name to “Materyales” since the initial one was too long.

Since photography was JT’s first love, she upgraded her equipment and decided to incorporate this field with Materyales.

JT came up with the idea of creating digital arts such as vector arts, Chibi, and stickers. She also made different layouts such as infographics, brochures, posters, invitations, flyers, and collages.

With the help of her mom, Bingle, who also sells arranged fresh flowers, they made flower arrangements for any events, and they also added other stuff to it like these chocolates.

She was able to enhance her skills not only in photography, but also in videography and filmmaking. She was the director of Abreatro Productions, which was based in Bangued, Abra.

Due to her hectic schedule, JT decided to take a break from her business to focus more on her studies, especially her internship. Fast forward to September 2023, her older sister, Lyka, who also works as a freelance graphic designer/video editor, thought about running the business again. It’s somehow their way to celebrate Materyales’s 3rd year as well.
